Position Available: January 2026
SUMMARY: Under direction of the principal and special education director, provides instructional support to students with disabilities and general classroom teachers who are served through the following programs: Hearing and Vision, Autism (ASD), Emotional Impairments (EI), Learning Disabilities (LD), Otherwise Health Impaired (OHI), Speech and Language (SL), Physical Disabilities and Cognitive Impairments (CI). Monitors and evaluates outcomes for students with disabilities. Assists in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications: Michigan elementary teacher certification with special education and early childhood education endorsement (ZA or ZS), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Emotional Impairment (SE), Learning Disabilities (SM), or Autism (SV). Must meet State of Michigan certification and highly qualified requirements.
