Position: Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional (Temporary Position) Location: Early Childhood Center/Special Education Start Date: January 5, 2026 End Date: March 27, 2026 Hours: 12 hours/week Monday - Thursday: 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, assisting students with hygiene needs, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, physically transferring students and assisting in instructional job responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required. Demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Must be highly qualfied: 1. Have at least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education; or 2. Hold an associate’s degree or higher; or 3. Have a passing score on an approved, formal assessment (ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment)
WAGE: Ranging $20.40 - $22.19 per hour - as per the current Paraprofessional master agreement
