The Locke Middle School is seeking a special education teacher for our 5th- grade inclusion classrooms. The candidates must possess a strong content knowledge of ELA and mathematics, as well as an understanding of how to implement individual education plans in the regular education setting.
Duties will include assessing students, writing IEPs, facilitating team meetings, and co-teaching in an inclusion environment. We are seeking collaborative, caring individuals with a passion for teaching students with specific individual learning needs. Provide other related duties that the Principal may assign
Candidates must be MA certified as middle school Special Education Teacher with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
