Position: General Education Paraprofessional - CERF/GEN ED
Location: Centerville Elementary
Start Date: 8/27/25
Hours: 6.5 hours/day - 8:55 am to 3:55 pm
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, and support recess and lunch., and Reading Support/Intervention.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma required.
Demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Must be highly qualfied:
1. Have at least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education; or
2. Hold an associate’s degree or higher; or
3. Have a passing score on an approved, formal assessment (ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment)
WAGES:
Ranging from $20 - $21.75 per hour, dependent on prior experience
