Job Title: Algebra I/Math Specials Teacher
Location: Eustace Middle School
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Algebra I/Math Specials Teacher to join our team at Eustace Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student development. The primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality instruction in Algebra I and other math specialties to students, fostering their love for mathematics and enhancing their problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Algebra I and other math specialties.
2. Evaluate student performance regularly and provide feedback to improve their skills.
3. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning.
4. Participate in school events and staff meetings.
5. Stay updated with latest educational best practices and theories.
6. Maintain a positive, productive, and respectful learning environment.
Skills:
1. Excellent knowledge of Algebra I and other math specialties.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to engage students and make math interesting.
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
6. Strong organizational and class management skills.
Certifications:
The candidate must hold a valid teaching certification. A degree in Mathematics or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in teaching Algebra I or other math specialties at the middle school level will be an advantage.
