Crossroads Center for Children, located in the Schenectady/Rotterdam/Duanesburg, NY area, has both integrated pre-school and self-contained school-aged classrooms. In this role you will work closely with and be supported by an Educational Supervisor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst to help students meet their academic, self-help, and behavioral goals. Each classroom consists of a special education teacher that supervises multiple teacher’s aids. Students are also supported by a Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapist on an as needed individualized basis.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Plan and run group lessons that encompass student goals.
Create and update individualized skill acquisition binders.
Provide Discrete Trial sessions.
Supervise Teacher assistants within the classroom.
Scheduling staffing within your classroom.
Report writing.
Work with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA) and other key. providers to adhere to students' Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
Attend IEP, Behavior, Team, and All School meetings.
Collect ABA data to track progress and modify necessary changes to meet student goals.

Licenses & Experience
Experience in Special Education: 1 year (Preferred)
Teaching Certification (Required for School-Aged)
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
