JOB VACANCY: High School Assistant Principal
LOCATION: Bastrop High School

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 months; Teacher Salary Schedule plus Assistant Principal’s Index (.17)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: At least three years of successful school or district leadership experience * Experience in staff/ teacher support & development * Possess the aptitude to articulate and demonstrate effective teaching strategies & practices * Skilled in working with diverse individuals/groups * Has had experience and success working in a Title I School (preferred)                      

Applicant shall possess the certification required by the applicable rules and regulations of the Louisiana Department of Education, and/or the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.

REPORTS TO: Principal

SUPERVISES:  Professionals, Paraprofessionals, and non-professionals as assigned by the principal.
