BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Contracted Service

The Westbrook School Department is seeking a Contracted Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on an as needed basis to work with our students and staff within our PRE K-K team.

The position will work with teachers, school staff, and families to support students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges. The position will:

• Conduct Assessments: Observe students to identify why specific challenging behaviors occur
• Create Behavior Plans: Design customized, evidence-based intervention plans to help students learn positive replacement behaviors.
• Train Staff: Coaches teachers, aides, and school administrators on how to use behavior strategies correctly in the classroom.

• Track Progress: Measure student data over time to see if the behavior plan works or needs adjustments

This is not a position in a Collective Bargaining Agreement. A Masters degree, BCBA certification, CHRC, strong communication skills, and experience in academic settings required.
