Bulletin 2533 Special Education Teacher at East Middle School

East Middle School seeks a 1.0 Special Education Teacher for the Pathways Program. This program provides individualized support for students who have exhibited social, emotional, and academic challenges. Those challenges and behaviors inhibit their ability to access the general education curriculum without structured support. This position requires DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities, 5-12. Ideal candidates are experienced at working with students with social/emotional challenges and learning disabilities at the middle school level. Candidates should also have demonstrated skills at working collaboratively and collegially on a team of professionals. Experience with behavior behavior modification strategies and student IEPs in the new DESE format is also preferred.
