As a key member of the school team, you’ll collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, therapists, and general educators to deliver individualized instruction and targeted interventions. From developing and implementing IEPs to monitoring progress and contributing to team meetings, your work will directly empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals. You’ll also foster a classroom culture built on positivity, structure, and strong behavior support strategies that encourage independence and success.

Requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
- A genuine passion for supporting diverse learners and promoting equity in education.
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities in inclusive or resource settings.
