Job Summary:

Under the direction of the building administrator and with guidance from the classroom teacher, a Class I Paraprofessional performs a variety of duties involved in the educational support of students.  The Paraprofessional monitors students, supports in behavior and discipline needs, and works with students to reinforce academic material that is introduced by the teacher.  

 

Job Qualification:

Must have a High School Diploma/GED and or College Degree. Or must be able to pass the ParaEducator Assessment upon hire.
