POSITION: CLASSROOM PARAPROFESSIONAL PRESCHOOL
LOCATION: Beavertown Elementary School
Effective 2024-25 School Year
GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a public-school preschool position, 7 hours per day, and will include benefits. The person in this position will be working in an Ohio Department of Education Early Childhood Preschool program with an assigned teacher. Early childhood education, training, and experience are preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
- To provide supervision for students.
- To keep accurate records.
- To work collaboratively with other staff members.
- To adapt to flexible situations.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
- Must be Highly Qualified - Possess a 2-year Associates Degree or 2 years of
college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.) OR passage of state
paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test).
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaborative and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: Per Approved Salary Schedule. THIS IS A SPREAD PAY POSITION
