Under the general direction of the Curae Center Program Director, the Special Education Teacher designs and provides a positive learning environment and delivers instruction to students at the Curae Center whose educational needs are primarily the result of significant behavior challenges. The Special Education Teacher leads the IEP team to develop data driven student learning and behavioral goals. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for developing curriculum and program strategies consistent with the student's learning level and mental health needs and continually assesses student progress towards IEP goals. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for working with team members to develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans and Emergency Response Protocols for students throughout the duration of the student's placement at Curae.
Assignment:
We are recruiting for a Special Education Teacher to serve the Curae Center for the 2026-2027 school year. The start date will be August 2026 and this position is full time, 185 days.
Regular attendance required: This role relies on regular and reliable attendance to ensure consistency for our students and help support a positive, productive learning environment.
Salary:
The full salary range for this position is $57,898.00 - $109,132.00.Salary placement is based on education and certificated experience.
