PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To assess, analyze and interpret intellectual and educational functioning of students referred for Special Education assessment and of students requiring three-year re-evaluations; to promote a positive working relationship, among and between staff and the schools as academic and functional based recommendations are presented to campus teams who will implement student-learning framework by establishing a climate conducive to open communication and productive work.

Educational/Certification:
Master’s Degree, required
Educational Diagnostician’s Certificate, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Communicate effectively (verbal and written); utilize effective interpersonal skills; interpret data, federal and state laws and policies; demonstrate knowledge of testing instruments to use with students who may qualify as disabled according to federal mandates; able to administer and inerpret assessments in English/Spanish, preferred
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience as a special education teacher, required

Daily Rate pay range:
Minimum: $ 332.86
Maximum: $ 464.40
Note: Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person's job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience
