Littleville Elementary School is seeking an ABA trained, PreK-2 Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to fill a unique role. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver and manage academic and behavioral support and interventions in a substantially separate, self-contained environment and a partial inclusion environment.
Qualified Candidates Must:
●Hold a current MA (PreK-2 or PreK-8) Student with Moderate Disabilities or Students with Severe Disabilities certification.
●Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is preferred.
●Must have experience educating students with a wide range of disabilities including SLD, ADHD, Autism, Social Emotional.
●Have excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
●Hold an unwavering belief that every student can grow and succeed.
Professional Responsibilities Include:
●Supports students by providing appropriate accommodations and modification of curriculum for special education students.
●Works to ensure the rights of students with disabilities to be full participants in the general curriculum and facilitates their step down to less restrictive environments by engaging with colleagues in support of students.
●Implements state and federal laws and regulations as they apply to special education.
●Participates in the development of and oversees implementation of IEPs for students.
●Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
●Evaluates and maintains data on pupils’ academic, social emotional and behavioral growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports.
●Communicates with parents through conferences and other means to discuss student progress.
●Administers standardized tests in accordance with district protocols and to determine special education eligibility.
●Participates in curriculum development as required.
●Participates in assigned duties in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
●Attend and actively engage in staff meetings, professional development, required trainings, and other school-based or district meetings throughout the school year.
●Perform other duties as assigned by administration to support the overall success of the school community.

Salary range is $52,803-$91,482, dependent upon education and experience.
