The Infant and Toddler Connection (ITC) of Greater Prince William is looking for a part-time Occupational, Physical or Speech Therapist to join our team of early intervention professionals providing specialized services to eligible infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities. Our EI Specialists provide direct services to children and families to help them achieve their outcomes, providing services in their natural environment, during their daily activities and routines while using the coaching style of interaction to build the family’s capacity to support their infants’ and toddlers’ development; provide education to staff and families to empower them to help their infants’ and toddlers’ progress with developmental skills. Collaborate with a diverse team of EI Specialists to provide excellent services to the infants and toddlers in our community. Perform related work as required.

The salary rate is an all-inclusive rate that encompasses the full scope of work associated with service provision. This includes, but is not limited to, direct services, documentation, participation in required team meetings, scheduling, and other administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.
Prince William County Community Services is located within easy commuting distance from Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.
About This Role:
Successful professionals in this role:
Participate in weekly eligibility determination, assessment for service planning, and IFSP development.
Provide ongoing and formal assessment of clients using a standardized tool (Hawaii Early Learning Profile (HELP) or other approved developmental assessment tool).
Must have strong knowledge of typical and atypical development for infants and toddlers 0-3 years of age.
Work directly with families as part of their IFSP team to provide services specific to your discipline (OT/PT/ST) in the child’s natural environment, using the coaching style of interaction.
Follow Part C practices outlined in the Practice Manual, including the Primary Service Provider model.
Know community and professional resources to support families.
Document in a timely and organized manner in our Electronic Health Records.
Complete Fidelity Assessments as required by Virginia or ITC of Greater Prince William
Attend and participate in staff teamings, trainings, and supervision.
Participate and contribute to Quality Assurance efforts.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy
1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental delays or disabilities
Virginia license to practice OT, PT, or ST
Must have or be eligible for Part C Certification as an EI Professional.
Preferences:
1 year of experience working with infants/toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities
Previous Part C experience preferred/not required
Spanish speaking preferred/not required

Work Schedule:
18.75-hour work week; Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
Hiring Salary Range: $42.45 – $56.94
