We are looking for an Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our District.
We are looking for certified and highly qualified and experienced candidates with the following attributes:
- Valid NYS Teacher Certification
- Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
- Students with Disabilities (B-2), (1-6), (7-12), or All Grades
- Enthusiastic and Passionate about Working with all Students
- Ability to work Collaboratively with Co-Professionals
- Ability to Communicate Effectively with students and parents
- Competent in Completing Assessments and Reporting as Appropriate
- Able to Write, Interpret and Administer IEP's
- Plan for, Provide, and Document Instruction for SWDs
- Understand NYS mandates for Individual Education Plans
- Provide Instruction for SWDs Consistent with NYS Standards and NYS Regulations
