Elementary Special Education Teacher

The Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking a dedicated and licensed Special Education teacher to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and support staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' academic and emotional growth, ensuring compliance with VT Special Education Law, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. We follow a case management model in which the special educator is responsible for implementing and delivering the services outlined in the student’s IEP, but is not responsible for drafting the IEP or conducting evaluations.
