Elementary Special Education Teacher/Take Flight Dyslexia Interventionist

Barton School District is seeking a certified Elementary Special Education Teacher with Take Flight training for the upcoming school year. This position will provide special education services and deliver structured dyslexia intervention using the Take Flight curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with IEPs
• Delivering Take Flight lessons with fidelity to identified students
• Monitoring and documenting student progress
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education and dyslexia requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Arkansas Special Education teaching license. Take Flight certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.

190 Day Salary Schedule

0 to 5 Years 50000
6 to 10 Years 52500
11 to 15 Years 55000
16 to 20 Years 57500
21 or More Years 60000

Masters Degree 1500 stipend
Masters Degree plus 30 2500 stipend
