We are hiring an ESP/Paraprofessional at both Elementary Schools in Winthrop. These are full time positions for an entire school year.
Job Description for Educational Support Professional (ESP - Paraprofessional)
Qualifications: Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree is preferred)
Reports to: Teacher(s) & Administration
Responsibilities
•Assists students individually and in groups in and out of the general education classroom
•Performs all instructional activities as directed and overseen by a certified teacher(s)
•Performs all non-direct instructional activities as directed by the teacher(s)
•Performs instructional and non-instructional duties in a sub separate, resource room, or general education classroom within the building or in any other building as directed by the teacher (s)
•Maintains the same level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information concerning students
•Assisting students with toileting if needed (not required for this current opening)
Salary: According to the terms of the contractual agreement between the Winthrop School Committee and WTA.
