Are you looking for a summer job?  Apply today to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) Program! The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU)'s Extended School Year (ESY) program provides School Age students with fun and enriching opportunities to continue to maintain their academic, emotional, behavioral, and social skills that they worked on throughout their school year.  ESY is a rewarding program that allows staff to continue to work while still having time to enjoy their summer!  This is a great opportunity for college students and those currently working in education who are looking for summer employment!
  
A vacancy exists for a Special Education Teacher to work within the Office of Student Services for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit during ESY in the following program: Secondary Emotional Support

Location:

• The Anderson School (930 Jefferson Ave. Eagleville, PA 19403)

Qualifications:

• Valid PA Certification in Special Education (N-12, PK-12, PK-8) required
• Experience with autistic support, emotional support, hearing support, and/or transition.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct instruction to students during the course of the ESY program.

 
Estimated Work Days and Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 06/29/2026 - 07/30/2026
Approximately 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (could vary)
 
Hourly Rate (based on 2025-2026 Step):
Step 1-5: $50.00/hour
Step 6-10: $55.00/hour
Step 11-15: $60.00/hour

Earn up to a $600 Bonus for working our ESY program this summer! 
$300 to be paid in first half, $300 to be paid in second half; prorated for those working less than full-time.
