Title: ESY Paraprofessional - (Elementary @ the Complex) (Internal Only) (Summer 2025)

General Duties:

The paraprofessional's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational support for Special Education classrooms. 
  • Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced and outlined by licensed staff.
  • Assists the teacher in special strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.
  • Monitors work, supervises curriculum-based testing and makeup work, as assigned by the staff.
  • Assists in classroom and instructional duties as assigned by the teacher.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a current paraprofessional in the grades listed above.

 

Compensation: $1760 Stipend

 

Dates/Time: Summer school work and planning includes, but is not limited to, the summer school schedule which is:

Summer School will run from June 30th-July 24th.  Work days will be 8:00AM-12:00PM

 

  • Week 1 - Monday June 30th - Thursday July 3rd (4 Day week)
  • Week 2 - Monday July 7th - Thursday July 10th (4 Day week) 
  • Week 3 - Monday July 14th -Thursday July 17th (4 Day Week)
  • Week 4 - Monday July 21st- Thursday July 24th (4 Day Week)
