SUMMARY: A one-on-one behavioral paraprofessional works directly with a single student with autism to implement their Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). Key responsibilities include providing academic and behavioral support, collecting and reporting data on student performance and behavior, implementing crisis prevention procedures if needed, assisting with social skills development, and helping maintain a structured learning environment for the student. .
