The High School Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role ensures students receive appropriate accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies to support academic success, independence, and post-secondary readiness.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, administrators, and support staff.
Provide direct instruction in inclusive, co-teaching, and/or self-contained classroom settings.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance requirements.
Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluation reports as required.
Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and other applicable regulations.
