This homebound instructional position supports a student who is unable to attend school in person. All curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional guidance will be provided by the student’s school -based Case Manager. The instructor will be responsible for delivering instruction aligned with the student’s IEP, monitoring progress, and maintaining consistent communication with the school team.<\/span>

• Current South Carolina Teaching Certification in Special Education (Multi -Categorical).<\/span>

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Reliable transportation to the Five Forks / Monarch Elementary area.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Experience working with students with Moderate Intellectual Disabilities preferred.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Deliver specialized, individualized instruction based on lesson plans provided by the school -based Case Manager.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Implement instructional strategies appropriate for a student with moderate intellectual disabilities.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Maintain regular communication and instructional “check -ins” with the Case Manager to ensure compliance with the IEP.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Provide feedback and updates regarding student engagement, performance, and instructional needs.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Ensure instruction is delivered in a safe, supportive, and structured home environment.<\/span>

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.<\/span>
