In Home Special Education Teacher

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Special Education Teachers for direct hire roles—both full-time and part-time—providing in-home services across the Rochester, NY area.

🔍 What You’ll Do

As a Special Education Teacher focused on early intervention, you’ll deliver individualized, high-impact educational services in home settings. You’ll work collaboratively within a nurturing and professional team, while maintaining autonomy over your schedule and caseload.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct in-home special education instruction for children aged Birth–2
• Create and implement customized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and supervisors to support holistic development
• Maintain clear documentation and progress notes
• Participate in ongoing team meetings and professional training sessions

🎓 What You’ll Need

• Master’s Degree in Special Education (Required)
• NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–2) or Permanent NYS Special Education Certification (Required)
• Experience working with young children in special education or early intervention (Preferred)

💼 Job Details

• Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Pay Rate: $60.00–$70.00/hr (Fee-for-service model)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 24–40 hours/week
• Location: Services delivered in children's homes (localized caseloads to reduce commute)
