SUBJECT: Itinerant Special Education Teacher


Minimum Qualifications:

MA DESE licensed in moderate disabilities – PreK-2 or PreK-8
Experience working with students with disabilities using a variety of interventions, accommodations, and modifications
Demonstrated ability to administer, score, and interpret educational tests
Skilled in providing specialized instruction and using data to guide services
Experience with alignment of CORE standards to differentiate instruction to meet the individual the needs of students’ with disabilities
Knowledge of writing measurable individualized education plans, goals and objectives
Ability to travel between sites as needed

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction on site at Head Start Brockton and/or Brockton Day Nursery, as provisioned in students’ IEPs
Testing and Assessment evaluations for all levels as determined by Director /Asst Director.

Reports to: Assistant Director of Special Education, Early Childhood

Work Hours: Elementary School Schedule

Grant Funded Position: Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative (CPPI) Grant

Compensation: According to contract
