DMPS and Lincoln High School are looking for Special Education teachers with their Strat 1 endorsement or the willingness to obtain this endorsement.
There is a $5,000 Hiring Bonus for new special education teachers in 25-26.
Through the DMPS partnership with Drake University, the district can pay for the tuition on necessary coursework for those interested in obtaining their special education endorsement in exchange for a commitment to remain teaching in the district for a certain amount of time (based on the number of credits needed).
