Provide direct instruction to students
Function as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide core Academic Support instruction to special education students in grades 9-12, primary area of instruction is math and science
Collect and Analyze individual student data and use that information to develop measurable goals and objectives and corresponding lessons
Apply appropriate knowledge to curriculum content/instruction, plan lessons and align assessment of student learning, monitors students' understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction, materials, or assessments, using data-driven techniques, as appropriate
Participate in related school meetings which are held for the purpose of improving both curricula and extra-curricula activities
Collaborate with the Team Chair to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) addressing students’ needs and function as a liaison/case manager for designated students.
