Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher

The Ayer Shirley Regional School District is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher to work from October 3, 2025, through December 2, 2025. The primary responsibilities of the Educator will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards using district-assigned curricular materials
• Assess student progress through various methods and use the information to adjust instruction
• Provide an equitable classroom environment by effectively meeting the individual needs of all students
• Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration
