This is a long-term substitute position only and is available until approximately October 24th and pays $120.00 per day.
This is for the Access program (6th gr. self contained classroom)
Essential Function:
This position is accountable for planning and providing for appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of settings, but particularly in an inclusive setting. The teacher is responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment such that students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible when supported with supplemental aids, accommodations and other needed supports.
Preferred candidate should be licenced as a Special Education teacher with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
