Days 1-20 = $250 per day
Days 21+ = $307 per day

The Intensive-Independent Learning Community (I-ILC) at Randolph High School is a sub-separate program for grades 9 through 12 designed to meet the needs of students with intellectual impairments and those on the autism spectrum. These students require significant specialized instruction in academics and substantial curriculum modifications, often working on "access skills" or "entry point" levels. The ILC provides small group instruction with a low student-to-staff ratio, promoting academic and social success through a developmentally appropriate, multi-sensory approach.

The program embeds opportunities to practice functional communication, self-help, and social-emotional skills. Students also engage in activities of daily living (ADLs), community access, and transition skills, with ongoing instruction to help them gain independence. The ILC's tailored approach ensures that each student's unique needs are met, fostering both academic and personal growth.

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Develop weekly lesson plans that contain all of the required components covering all content areas (with an emphasis on Math and Science).
-Deliver instruction utilizing appropriate resources, equipment, materials, technology, and instructional strategies.
-Provide differentiated instruction based on the student’s individual level of functioning and preferred learning modalities.
-Consult with BCBA utilizing ABA methodologies in instruction with students as necessary.
-Provide a positive role model of appropriate and respectful interactions with students and staff.
-Develop, teach, and review clear and concise classroom rules, routines, procedures, and expectations.
-Develop a daily/weekly schedule of instructional and non-instructional activities for each paraprofessional.
-Maintain constant and ongoing communication regarding students and all facets of the program.
-Follow the appropriate chain of command when questions, issues, and/or concerns arise.
-Accurately complete all required paperwork within the designated timelines.
