POSITION:

Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher

(This is a vacancy due to a leave of absence)

Furnace Brook Middle School

                                                                                               

STARTING DATE:

Approximately April 6, 2026 for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, scheduled June 29, 2026

 

SALARY:

$140.00 per day for first 20 days; (Bachelors, Step 1) $323.46 per day starting 21st day

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY:

Directly responsible to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services

 

QUALIFICATIONS:            

  • Bachelors required.
  • MA DESE License: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PK-8 or 5-12) required.
  • Ability to relate well with middle school students and collaborate with teachers and support staff effectively.
