Rising Tide Charter Public School is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

Applicants must have a strong background in Special Education (a degree with a concentration in the subject area and/or licensure in Moderate Disabilities) as well as an interest in taking an inquiry- and skills-based approach to teaching and learning.

Responsibilities include co-teaching core academic classes, providing small group instruction when appropriate, supporting a caseload of students with IEPs, writing and updating IEPs and progress reports, and collaborating with other teachers to ensure that accommodations and modifications are being provided.

Applicants must hold a Moderate Disabilities license in Massachusetts, an equivalent license from another state, or have successfully completed an approved undergraduate or graduate program in special education.

Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) is a free charter public school in Massachusetts. Rising Tide serves approximately 620 students in grades 5-12 from 20 towns in the school’s designated region; the majority of the students are residents of Plymouth.
