Job Description

The Paraprofessional will be responsible for providing a timely, high-quality and accurate work product. This individual will be expected to demonstrate professionalism at all times to deliver excellent client service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Essential Duties  

  • Provide superb client service through interaction with clients and their staff, including on-site visits.
  • Maintain general ledgers including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, cash disbursements, journal entries, month-end and year end close.
  • Bank and brokerage reconciliations.
  • Accounting for fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Special projects and reports.

 Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of industry related experience in a CPA or professional services firm preferred.
  • Payroll tax return preparation experience a plus.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction while exercising good judgment/decision making.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times and deliver excellent client service.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a pleasant, positive demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good working experience with QuickBooks, Word and Excel required.
  • Travel to various clients via personal car required.

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation for this position ranges from $60,000- $80,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
