Paraprofessional

Come join our team, we have a four day work week and a staff daycare. Aurora R-8 is seeking a paraprofessional to work in a behavior support classroom and with individual students at the early childhood elementary level for this school year. The purpose of our behavior support classroom is to provide students with the opportunity to regulate and learn behavior skills to support them in life. The applicant must have 60 college hours or have passed the Para Praxis Pro.  A college degree or someone working towards a teaching degree is preferred.  They must also be willing to help with personal hygiene tasks, be able to lift/position a student, and help with personal tasks as well as assist with academics. The person must be able to document well and be able to work with a variety of people.
