Old Rochester Regional School District is currently seeking a paraprofessional at our Senior High School fr the 2025-2026 school year. A commitment to educational equity and inclusion work as well as an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in school community are essential.
Paraprofessionals will work under the direction of a special educator, related service providers, and in collaboration with other paraprofessionals and school-based personnel to meet the goals and objectives of students' IEPs. Services may include a focus on academic support, behavioral support, sensory support, communication facilitation, transitions among school settings, addressing health, hygiene and safety needs, and guiding the development of social and emotional skills with individuals or groups of students. Paraprofessionals in this position are asked to review student IEPs with teachers on a regular basis and employ universal precautions related to health and hygiene.
