Position: Level 1 Paraprofessional (General Education) Multiple Positions
Location: Emmons Lake Elementary
Reports To: Building Principal
Compensation: $15.78 per hour (or more depending on experience) 27.5 hours per week/183 Days per year
Benefits: Paid sick days, paid personal days, paid holidays.
Start Date: 25-26 School Year
Position Summary
Contributes to the achievement of educational goals by providing additional educational support to students in the areas of math, reading, and other content areas. The paraprofessional works under the direction of a certified teacher or the building principal.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds of stored files. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, especially due to concentration when reading and working on a computer screen.
