SAU 19 is pleased to be partnering with the National Collaborative for Digital Equity to offer the NH Registered Apprenticeship program. This program allows Paraprofessionals to work while earning their teacher certification at little to no cost. Please see our website for additional information about this exciting opportunity (Welcome to SAU#19). Paraprofessional applicants interested in this program should indicate that interest on their cover letter when submitting their application. ~ Paraprofessional may be assigned to a small group of students within a general classroom, or working individually with a student. Skills being worked on may be academic in nature, such as assisting students with a Science Lab, editing an essay or solving math problems. Functional skill development may include social skills, hygiene, safety and behavior management. A paraprofessional may occasionally be reassigned depending on absences for that day. Our day starts at 8:25am and ends at 3:10pm.
