Perry County School District No. 32 is seeking a Paraprofessional - Teacher Aide for the 2025-2026 school year. A teacher aide reinforces lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups. One may be requested to provide non-instructional services to students necessary for the student to access the district’s facilities and programs. These services may include, but are not limited to, ambulatory, eating and toileting assistance.
SALARY RANGE
Starting at $16.75 per hour
- New employees receive credit for previous FULL years of verified experience in appropriate experience related to the area in which they will work.
- Current District 32 salary schedules.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position works 7.75 hours per day, Monday - Friday following the school calendar along with scheduled professional development days.

- The district pays up to $650.00 per month for the employee’s medical insurance, which begins on the first day of the month following the official employment date. Vision, dental, and life insurance are optional and at employee expense.
- District-paid $10,000.00 life insurance policy.
- Paid leave: 8 sick days and unused sick leave will be cumulative to 180 days, with a maximum carryover of 172 days; 4 personal days that do not carryover, but are added to the annual sick leave and then qualify for accumulation.
