Paraprofessionals 1:1 (2 positions)

Dennett Elementary School, in Plympton, MA is seeking two (2) full time paraprofessionals whose primary role is to support students with disabilities in a 1:1 setting. The assignment of these roles are dependent on the needs of students in the building and will report to the building principal.

Responsibilities include: 

• supporting students in general education classes and/or substantially separate classrooms
• providing accommodations to students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
• collaborating with regular education and Special Education teachers
• and other duties to be assigned by building administration. 

An ideal candidate:

• should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• will collaborate with other staff members.
• would be willing and take professional development offered by the district.

Hours are 8:00 - 3:00 Monday to Friday. 

This is a full time, benefits eligible position through the Town of Plympton and the Plympton Paraprofessional contract.

Salary is between $17.42 - $22.88 per hour depending on experience.
