Vermont Learning Collaborative (VTLC) is a new educational service agency supporting member school districts and supervisory unions in the southeast region of Vermont.
VTLC is currently partnering with Windham Northeast Supervisory Union, Windham Southeast Supervisory and Windham Southwest Supervisory Union to seek qualified paraprofessional candidates to work with students in the greater Bellows Falls, Brattleboro region and greater Wilmington area.
We are seeking special education para-educators with experience working with students who have academic and social skill challenges. These positions will provide in and out of classroom support and intervention to special education students. The para-educators will work with special educators, classroom teachers and related service providers to balance inclusive instruction with specialized intervention and support. Candidates must have the ability to use educational technology, proficiency with the Google platform, possess excellent communication skills and a positive and flexible attitude. Knowledge of positive behavior support practices and trauma-informed practices is preferred.
