Overview:
--The district is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide part-time contracted services in the area of evidence-based writing instruction. Candidates with training and experience in the Landmark Writing Program are preferred; however, certification or experience in other structured, research-based writing programs will also be considered.
--This is a flexible role requiring 2–3 hours per week, with a preference for in-person services, though qualified candidates offering virtual instruction will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
--Deliver individualized and small-group writing instruction aligned with evidence-based practices.
--Implement structured writing interventions to support students with identified needs.
--Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
--Collaborate with educational staff to align instruction with student learning plans.
--Maintain accurate records of services and outcomes.
