    POSITION:  Special Education Paraprofessional (Highly Qualified)
    LOCATION:  Colvill Family Center
    HOURS PER DAY:  8:30 - 3:00 M-Th and 8:30-11:30 Fri; 27-29 hours per week; 9 month position following the school calendar. 
    RATE OF PAY: $19.68-20.76 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and pursuant to the Red Wing Education Support Personnel Association Master Agreement. (see attachment)
    BENEFITS:  This part time position is not eligible for medical benefits.  
    A basic life insurance policy and paid time off are provided per the Support Personnel Agreement (see attachment).
    KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Are patient, adaptable, and possess a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
    • Are highly organized, responsible, and able to follow directions.
    • Hold or are eligible for Highly Qualified status as defined by Minnesota state requirements (e.g., Associate's degree or higher, or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment). OR willingness to become Highly Qualified upon hire.
    • Experience with specific disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders) is a plus.
