    This is a full-time, temporary, school climate paraprofessional position for student support at Postlethwait Middle School.  This position may involve behavior support, implementing student interventions, supporting IEP / 504 behavior modifications, hallway monitoring, assigned duties, and classroom visits as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or its recognized equivalent and passing score of 459 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (ETS ParaPro) OR Associate Degree or minimum of 60 college credits (regionally accredited; and earned “C” or better. DDOE provides final approval for credits accepted).     SALARY:  In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

    • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
    • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
    • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following:  proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver’s License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
