Position: Shared Paraprofessional
Parker Academy is seeking a hardworking, flexible, and dependable individual to join our team as a shared paraprofessional. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
The shared paraprofessional will provide both academic and emotional support across classrooms, serving as a calm, steady presence for students who may need help with schoolwork or with emotional regulation.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting students with academic tasks, organization, and skill development.
Providing calm, supportive interventions when students experience emotional or behavioral challenges.
Collaborating with teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Stepping in where needed, switching gears quickly, and maintaining a positive presence throughout the school day.
