Summary<\/strong><\/u><\/h4> Join a mission\-driven educational setting focused on empowering students with emotional and behavioral challenges. This role supports middle and high school students with moderate disabilities, using a science\-based curriculum in a therapeutic, trauma\-informed school environment. You'll be part of a collaborative team deeply committed to academic growth and emotional support. What Youâll Do<\/strong><\/u><\/h4>
- Teach science\-based content aligned with state standards to students in grades 5â12 with moderate disabilities<\/li>
- Develop and implement IEPs with input from families and clinical teams<\/li>
- Use differentiated, data\-informed instructional methods to meet a wide range of learning needs<\/li>
- Support students with behavioral and emotional regulation within a structured, supportive classroom environment<\/li>
- Collaborate with teaching teams, clinicians, and support staff to create a safe, inclusive space<\/li>
- Engage in school events, team meetings, and professional development<\/li>
<\/ul>
Experience Youâll Need<\/strong><\/u><\/h4>
- Active Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate Disabilities 5â12<\/strong><\/li>
- Experience teaching middle and\/or high school students<\/strong><\/li>
- Comfort with math curriculum delivery<\/strong> in special education settings<\/li>
- Background working with students with emotional or behavioral challenges<\/li>
- Strong collaboration skills and commitment to trauma\-informed educational practices<\/li>
- Bachelorâs degree required; masterâs degree a plus<\/li>
