Special Education Coordinator

The Special Education Coordinator serves as the LEA representative at Evaluation Team Meetings and IEP Team meetings, and works with the building administrator at each assigned school and Director of Special Education to ensure that the provision of special education services to students with Individual Education Plans (IEP) is provided. The Coordinator of Special Education fosters collaboration in the department and recognizes the accomplishment of departmental members. Depth of knowledge regarding special education law, processes and procedures, exceptional leadership and communication skills are paramount.
