Duties:
-Paraprofessional to work in a substantially separate classroom with students with special needs.
-Will work under the daily direction of a licensed Special Education Teacher and staff professionals including Speech and Language and BCBA’s.
-Experienced in keeping performance data as well as administering tutoring and support services to students in a classroom setting, small group setting or 1-1 setting.
-Must be skilled in supporting students in the acquisition of academic, social, and behavioral goals set by the special education team.
-Knowledge of reinforcement schedules and behavior management techniques.
-Should be adept at working in a collaborative model with teachers and specialists in order to provide a transdisciplinary instructional approach.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or Diploma with Workkeys or Parapro
Salary: Per Unit D contract, salary range: $17.67/hr - $22.96/hr
