Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to support a small caseload of approximately 10 students in a collaborative, student-centered school environment in Portland, OR. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized instruction that helps students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff

Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring data

Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
